If you want to see for example the U.S. version of Google News but that keeps redirecting to your local version you want to do the following:

1. Go to Google.com. If you're redirected to your local Google, for example Google.ch , click on the "Google.com in English" link.

2. On the top menu of Google.com, click on the "News" link

At this point you should see the U.S. version of Google News.

If you want to see the U.S. or other version of Google News but on your local Google domain, for example Google.ch, just click the "News" (or its equivalent in your own language) link from the top menu of Google Search. When the page has loaded, select the version you want to see using the drop-down menu from below the Google News logo:
