Google News: Publication Name
There are only two ways to find out your publication name:
- it's included in the email from the Google News staff
- by committing a [site] search on Google News
To find your publication name on Google News, first you will have to find in the News index the articles you have published in the past 30 days, then look below the title of an article to find your publication name.
Step by step:
1. Find your articles. The easiest way to achieve it is to commit a "site" search on Google News. For example, if your site's domain is "example.com", write in the search box on Google News (without leading or in-between spaces):
site:example.com
Hitting [Enter] will lead you to a news search results page listing all your articles published in the past 30 days.
2. Below the linked titles of your articles you will see your publication's name in gray fonts plus, if applicable, the publication genre and access.
The name is the part in gray, omitting any trailing parentheticals that describe the genres or access of the site, such as "(satire)" or "(subscription)".
